G.H.Raisoni Institute of Management & Research, Khaperkheda organizes a week’s orientation program for its new students . It serves full platter to the new batch. The aim of the induction program is to acclimatize the new students to the atmosphere of a B-School. The program helps the students in familiarizing themselves with the rigors and expanse of Management education through business games, experiential learning, and group activities. To inculcate effective management practices from day one, activities like the team building exercise, News Paper Activity, Quiz, etc., are used throughout the program in various sessions. All work and no play cannot be a perfect model to facilitate learning and therefore, many interesting sessions on management games, Movie Review, Extempore, Talent Show & Junior Senior Interaction etc., also forms a part of this program so that students can explore and express their creative talents in various forms. The objective of this program is to introduce the students to the ethos, values and campus activities to ensure a productive engagement during their two years in the campus. All in all, this entire program promises various takeaways for all the new entrants to the GHRIMR family.
HR Conclave is a platform for HR professionals, thought leaders and academia to come together every year to share their experiences, discuss emerging trends and engage in finding solutions for meeting current HR challenges. In this era of turbulence there is an ardent need to understand the trends in technological development and utilizing it to enhance & benefit the organization. The rapidly transforming business landscape means that there are currently many human resource management challenges which will continue to evolve for years to come. Due to the fluctuating economy as well as local and global advancements, there are many changes occurring rapidly that affect HR in a wide range of issues. The Conclave intends to bring eminent and senior professionals from the industry who have significant achievements to their credit. As the business world changes, so does the role of HR professionals. Since human resources is abusiness-driven function, effectiveness depends on a thorough understanding of the strategiccorporate direction, as well as the ability to influence key policies and decisions. In addition,human resource management challenges must be defined and solutions determined in order to succeed.Its our Endeavour to identify major issues & challenges of HR and deliberate with experts. Theroundtable conference aims to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas.
‘R-Idea’ – The national level competition is an ace business plan hunt with an objective to harness entrepreneurship and business planning skills within B-school students. The objective of R-idea is to provide an opportunity to post graduate students of management to compete on a national level and get their business plans validated by experts from industry, academia and venture capitalists and other funding agencies. The competition is open to those who have a primary business idea, fire to succeed as an entrepreneur and showcase an understanding of Economy, Business Potential, Financials, and Technology & Innovations.
Each year at GHRIMR, ‘Zeosh’ a cultural fest is organized and managed by the students themselves as GHRIMR strongly believes in the ideology of ‘Empowering by Learning’. Extra-curricular activities form an integral part of a student’s overall development in GHRIMR. Various cultural activities are conducted to provide an opportunity to the budding talent to showcase it to the world. It provides a remarkable threshold to the students to groom themselves in all aspects and present their unique talent. The students participate with full zeal and vigour while keeping the competitive spirits high. ‘Zeosh’ is arranged for the students to break the monotony. The cultural activities emphasizes fun, teamwork, leadership, promotes good entertainment, which is intellectually enriching and it also endorses cultural activities that uphold creativity, curiosity and openness towards unfamiliar situations.
A formal Farewell function ‘FOOT PRINTS’ is organized by GHRIMR for the departing second year students. Although the event is a formal occasion but there is nothing formal about it as it is filled up with emotions. The event is organized and anchored by the first year students who call upon the Director and the co-ordinator to address the students. The Director usually invites the passing out students to come back to the college and share their experience in the real world with their juniors which will help them make informed decisions regarding their future and career. A special award function is organized where in the Best Student Award is given to the student of the passing batch.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the responsibility of an Institute for the impacts of its decisions and activities on society, the environment and its own prosperity, known as the “triple bottom line” of people, planet, and profit. It helps to develop and inculcate the spirit of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) among Student members and to leverage collective strength to give back to society from which they have gained so much. The forum also strives to create opportunities for its members to use the forum as a platform for achieving the objects of CSR.
